The Bowie Knife, a legend in the American History
Considered one Texas folk heros, James “Jim” Bowie became famous for his ability to fight with his hunting knife after the “Sanbard fight” in Natchez, Mississipi, in 1827. By the time he died in the battle of the Alamo, the term bowie knife was established. Although the actual origin and style of the original Bowie knife is uncertain it is still very popular. Today the name Bowie knife refers to a large knife with a crossguard and a clip point. This T-Shirt is dedicated to James Bowie and the clip point knife that has become legendary ever since.
